Turkish companies made their mark at the Erbil Construction Fair, which was held for the 13th time this year, held in Northern Iraq and considered one of the most important construction fairs in the world due to the great potential in the region. 214 companies from around the world took part to reach the market, which amounts to approximately $1 billion.

The center of attention of the fair was Egeplast with its products that appeal to both the construction sector and infrastructure projects. Turkish Consulate General Erbil Trade Attaches Kerem Tuzlu, Kemal Bahadır and Air Conditioning Industry and Exporters Association officials, who were among those who visited the fair, also received information about the products from the officials at the Egeplast stand.

Approximately 15 thousand people visited the four-day fair. At the fair, officials of Egeplast, an active company in the construction, irrigation and infrastructure pipes sector, held face-to-face meetings with representatives of important companies. Egeplast Deputy General Manager Türkan Erisev İçer and Egaplast Export Manager Serdar Nacioğlu emphasized that the Erbil fair was productive and said, “As Egeplast, the Iraqi market is a market we mainly focus on. Our work in Iraq continues at full speed. "We aim to increase our place in the market and take it to higher levels in the coming days," he said.
